Edina High School will have a “classroom” in space in the 2022-23 school year! The district’s implementation plan for participation in the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program (SSEP) has been accepted by the National Center for Earth and Space Science Education (NCESSE).
The Page Foundation has announced the 2022-23 scholars and among them are five EHS seniors. The honor comes with a scholarship of $2,500 for students attending a four-year school, and $2,000 scholarship for students attending a two-year school.
Twenty-three students are set to graduate from Edina High School as Rotary Global Scholars. The Rotary Global Scholars program, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Edina and the Edina Education Fund, was designed to help students develop global competency skills, prepare for a global career, develop understanding of world issues and learn to apply academic content to solve social and global issues.
Edina High School has honored 18 juniors with Book Awards from 13 colleges. Book Awards are a collaboration with colleges and universities around the nation that recognize outstanding students. Nominated students have high academic achievement, dedication to learning, leadership, school involvement, character and commitment to the community.
